👋🏻 Hello everyone! It’s Celeste! 👋🏻

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it, 2026 will be over, with only two months left of the year!

I think this every year, but time really does fly, doesn’t it? 😳

Now, I know I’m a little late asking this, but how did you all spend Halloween this year? 🎃👻

In Japan, Halloween has become a familiar annual event, with people dressing up in costumes and streets filled with Halloween decorations!

However, Halloween is also associated with giving thanks for the autumn harvest. In some cultures and regions, it is also a time to remember and welcome the spirits of deceased loved ones and ancestors.

Although we often associate Halloween with spooky decorations and scary costumes, it actually has some lovely and heartwarming meanings behind it! ✨

In fact, when I was around 20, I spent some time studying abroad in Mexico, where I had the opportunity to experience Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) firsthand!

It’s a truly wonderful memory that has stayed with me ever since! 🇲🇽❤️

Throughout the streets, lively mariachi music filled the air as people welcomed their ancestors. People of all ages came together to sing, dance and celebrate!

The entire city was filled with a wonderful festival atmosphere. 🎶💃🏻

One thing that really stood out to me was everyone’s costumes and makeup!

People dressed up and painted their faces to resemble the dead, but everything was incredibly colourful and vibrant. Rather than looking frightening, it felt as though the entire city had transformed into one huge party! 🌼💀🌺

It was all about remembering loved ones and ancestors while celebrating their lives through music, dancing and joy.

Experiencing this beautiful Mexican tradition opened my eyes to a whole new side of Halloween and the different ways people celebrate it around the world.

There are so many different ways to enjoy Halloween, depending on the country and local traditions. But for me, experiencing Día de Muertos in Mexico remains one of my most precious and unforgettable memories. ❤️

I hope you all made some wonderful memories of your own this Halloween!

I know I’m a little late, but…

🎃👻 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! 👻🎃

I look forward to seeing you all again in my next blog post! 😊
