Hello everyone! It's Maya!
Last weekend, it snowed in Tokyo ☃️ and on Sunday we went to our first competition of the year in Kyoto!
Took the Shinkansen on Sunday morning and danced in the afternoon!
After it was over, we took the Shinkansen back to Tokyo in the evening!
Kinkakuji Temple was nearby, but unfortunately we couldn't go, and it was snowing in Kyoto, even at night!
The Shinkansen was 40 minutes late...
But we were just grateful that it was working!
The train was moving slowly and there were several power outages on the way, but I just prayed that it would make it to Shinagawa, and it arrived quite late at night 😭
Thankfully, the result of the competition was victory!
What's more, Kato couple, who attend our studio, came in third in the amateur division!
They did a great job!
And our staff Celeste and her partner Nakajima, who participated in the Tokyo competition held on the same day,
They made it to the semi-finals in the A-class Latin competition!!
Everyone is taking on the challenge and seeing results!
We are at the Asia Open this weekend! We'll do our best!!
