images-1_edited.jpg

Rumba has Cuban musical roots

Music and dance established by Africans brought to Cuba as slaves .

Since the late 1940s, the Western dance world has adopted the dance that originated in Cuba and created a unique interpretation.

In 1955, there were both Square Rumba (Box Rumba) and Cuban Rumba, but nowadays, in ballroom dancing, Rumba means Cuban Rumba. It features smooth and relaxed movement.

A dance that expresses the love between a man and a women.

Learn the Rumba today at M&M British Ballroom Dance.
