“Remember remember the 5th of November”
Tomorrow is the 5th of November, and in the UK we call it Guy Fawkes night.
Guy Fawkes was a man from British history who in 1605 tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament with barrels of gunpowder.
He was caught and sentenced to death, and at that time the punishment was to be burned at the stake.
Today, in the UK, every year on the 5th of November, we celebrate with fireworks and often burn an effigy of Guy Fawkes on a bonfire as a reminder to everyone not to make the same mistake!🎆🎇
