Hello everyone, Matt here 👋
On March 1st, we competed in the Kanagawa Championships and wow, what a day!
This competition is particularly tough because each dance lasts two full minutes. That might not sound too bad at first… but when you’re dancing all five dances back-to-back, it adds up to nearly 10 minutes of almost non-stop movement 😅🔥
We’re incredibly grateful to have placed 1st 🥇✨ It’s always rewarding when the hard work pays off.

And as part of the victory… I had to wear a leaf laurel crown on my head!! 🌿😂

More than anything, competitions like this remind us how much there still is to improve. Every round teaches us something new about stamina, about strategy and partnership.
Next up: The Universal in Shinagawa 💃🕺
We’ll give it everything we’ve got.
